In a close-knit suburb, Francine sees a young woman in distress yet avoids getting involved. The next morning, the death of a young woman is front page news. As the days pass by following the murder, Francine is overwhelmed with what could have been if she helped out, but mostly by the fear of judgement for doing nothing. This feeling leads on a quest to find acceptance and serenity.
